1 Vote The President

Dear Mr. President,
As a Christian, I would hope that you recognize that you have the authority of God over you and you would be seeking God's wisdom each day for your decisions.

Please also be aware that God has declared that each human life is to be protected, no exceptions. Abortion needs to be replaced with adoption. Women are being lied to that abortion is an answer. It is not, it causes mental anguish and regret in women that stay with her all her life.

0 Vote Uniting our Country

Dear Mr. President,
in this election year we have been through a rough time in our nation but as president I know that you know the phrase "Divided we fall" and "United we Stand". They both say the same thing. WE NEED to unite our country under you. In this time of economic crisis you need to bring us together but also listen to us as Americans and not just your party.

1 Vote Please seek God's guidance in all matters

Dear Mr. President,
Regardless of my party preference, I have always said that the most important thing is that the president of the USA is a Christian who follows the Bible. The Bible says Thou shall NOT commit murder. Abortion IS murder. The Bible says that marriage is between one male and one female. NOT one who has decided they would rather be the opposite sex or be with someone of the same sex. People are NOT born gay. It is a CHOICE they make! If you haven't accepted Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, you need to!!! You need to seek HIS WILL is ALL of your decisions. This great nation was founded on Biblical principles and needs to return to such. You have the power now to lead us back to such a state. Our young children have been VERY interested in the election. We have reminded them that no matter the outcome, our responsibility as Christians is constant and fervent prayer for our president. Please know that you are in our prayer. First for your salvation, if you aren't saved, and then for your leadership. That it be totally and completely in God's will. Sincerely, Rhonda

3 Vote Advice from 9 year old

Dear President,

I am only 9 years old, but I've been praying for you lately. Congratulations! Please remember to pray whenever you get nervous. Please read the Bible to get more smart. Please set a good example for all the people that are not Christians.

Thank you for being an example for many children. Our church prays for you. God bless you and your family.

2 Vote Dear Mr. President

Congratulations on winning the election! I know that you worked very hard to get here, but remember that God is the one who gave you this leadership position.
I will take this opportunity to tell you what I hope you do during your Presidency. First and foremost, make your relationship with the Lord your priority. Ask Him what His will is before you make decisions. Surround yourself with Godly people who will help you do the right thing. Please support our troops who protect our freedom. Please stop the murder of innocent babies. Please reduce taxes on our families. Please keep the mention of God's name in our Pledge of Allegience and on our currency. Please do not increase the power that government has; let the people keep their freedom.
Thank you for your sacrifice and your love for our country. If you do nothing else, ask God for wisdom and lead our country the way He wants you to lead it.
Thank you and God bless.
Katie

Dear Mr Prez!!

You are now one of the most powerful people in the world, how does it feel?? Remember when you were a kid and you always said that you wanted to be the president when you grew up? (I know that I did) I think that kids know a lot more then people give them credit for. Kids don’t declare war, get abortions, have prejudice, they don’t keep secrets and don’t lie. I think that you should consider truly adopting these qualities (if you don’t already). This is what I think America deserves in a president.
Now, I know that as the president you have to make hard decisions, like about war and the economy, but I think that you need to stay honest with the American public at all times. I always hear about the secrets that my president has kept from me and the public and nobody seems to like it. I know that you are the guy who gets to make the final decision, but I think that if you shared what was going on with the people and listened to their opinions and suggestions, that you would become not only a very popular president, but a wise one at the same time! (being popular will come in handy 4 years from now if you know what I mean) I don’t like hearing about government conspiracies, because I rest a lot of faith in my president to be honest to me.
I have noticed that as time goes on, the American people have become less and less religious. I am Catholic and I go to church every Sunday and I say the ENTIRE pledge with pride. I don’t expect that we can possible agree on every issue, or even most of them, but I sincerely hope that you won’t take measures to subdue religious expression in the American public. I don’t think that we should change the pledge or our coins, and I’m sure that the majority of the American people would agree with me.
I love America and I’m sure that you do too. I believe that America is the best country on Earth and I don’t want to see us change that. I see our country fighting in wars. (my own family has been torn because of this too – my dad served overseas in the navy when I was in 5th grade) I know that we can’t absolutely avoid war because of the extremist people that we are up against, but I just hope that soon we can find a way to settle all of our differences and discard prejudice altogether. I know that this could only happen in a perfect world and that you can’t promise to make that. (I would be kind of upset if you did because then I would know that you were lying). I don’t think that it is too much to ask for you to be honest and straightforward and to try your hardest to be to best person that you can be. Please take care of our country…it is in your hands now.

Ps: congratulations!!

3 Vote Your Heart

Dear Mr. President,
It is election day, November 4, 2008. At this point I'm not even sure who I'm writing! I want to share with you something that has made a deep impact on my life. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight."
Sir, I ask that you seek God in your decision making process as the first source of information. Please be careful about trusting your heart. If I have learned anything in my life it is that the heart is deceptive and wicked above all things (Jeremiah 17:9). God always knows what is best; you can't always trust your heart. I can't imagine the decisions you will be faced with in your Presidency. But we serve a God who is all wise and has promised to make Himself known when we seek Him.
My prayers are with you and your family. Blessings…

0 Vote Our Borders

Hello!
I am so very proud to talk to the next president weather it's Mr.MCcain, or Mr.Obama. My topic is the borders weather its Canada, or Mexico we need to secure our borders. We have so many poor, drug dealers, non-educated people who cross our border everyday. Thanks- Thomas Mitchell in Virginia

1 Vote Taxes

Dear Next Presdident,

I 'm only 16 years old but I know whats going on in the world and what is good for our socity, and I believe that Barack Obama will help a bunch of familes if he is elected because his goal is to lower taxes for middle and lowers class families so they're hard working lives would be easier for them. Thats what I like about Mr. Obama, he is not all about money he cares for everyone also he is one of the bravest people I know. Him being a African-American running for president and looks like he is about to win the election even though he knows there a people in our country who are trying t kill him just because of the color of his skin, I mean they already found to members from the KKK who is trying to kill him. But back to the subject, he is going to bring the middle class taxes down and me being in middle has me rooting for him to win since thats all I can do.

0 Vote How much money do you have to spend

Our new president is going to have alot of work to do. Their are a lot of things of our economy that needs to be changed. I think it is going to be tough but anyone can do it. It will just take some time. This is what i think about our economy and what needs to be changed. First I think that the gas prices hurt people. Mabye not pysical but finacual. See the prices go up but then the people spend more money. Then they use more money then they can make. This also effects other things. The Second problem is that the taxes are so high. I mean they kill some people in debt.  They base your taxes off of how big your home is. They also base it off on  how much  money you make and spend.  This really hurts our economy. The Third conflict is that our economy is not going out to eat. They don't have enough money too. This is because the gas prices and taxes are too high . This would then effect the owner of the restruant .  Then he can't make money from his business. So he cant spend money on other things. He has to save it so he can pay his bills. So the people really need to go out to eat. If you think about it this is all an domino effect. The gas prices and the taxes put people in debt. Then that effects the restrant prices. All the prices add up and so that the people dont have much money to spend on other things like clothes. This is the conflicts that the presidents should change.

0 Vote animals

The next president of the United States:

The air is stuffy. furry bodies gathered around in dozens, hundreds all trapped inside the walls of a local factory. The screams of poor inicent animals give each animal an idea of what will soon happen to them, there familys, and every furry creature surrounding them.
Most people dont realize how the meat they consume is prosessed. The torture of animals in factories remains legal to this day.
Can you even imagine what a cow or chicken goes through as they live a life inside a slaughter house?

The life of an average animal in a factory is not joyful. Cows and other animals are crammed into wire cages, and windowless sheds by the thousands, these animals will never do anything that is natural to them. They will not be able to feel the sun on there skin, or the feeling of breathing in a breath of fresh air until they are driven off to the slauter house. The animals are fed special food to "fatten them up". Most animals become so big, there legs become cripped under there un-naturally huge bodies. Animals are poisined with the spread of life threatening bacteria and disease throughout the over stuffed cages. When the day finally comes to get slautered the life of a factory animal gets a hundred times worse.

Most factories slauter there animals while they are concious. A chickens legs are snapped into shackles, the chicken is thrown into boiling scalding hot water to remove its feathers, then the throat is cut. And for cows, most cows die even before reaching the slauter house. If they do the animal is shot, hung, and skinned alive, some remaining conscious throughout the whole process. This not only happens to cows and chickens. Fish, pigs, turkeys, ducks, and geese are put through the same proccess, eccept they suffer different types of cruelty.

How couldnt a person be un-touched by what animals go through every day? The worst part is that the torturing and killing of animals in slauter houses is legal. I feel these animals need justice, cruelty to animals should be banned, a poor innicent animal should not have to go throgh a life tlike this, they never did anything to us.

Did you know that slauter factories can surprisingly be a leading cause of pollution in the United States? Animal waste is deangerous to the enviroment. Sure treated waste can be good for gardens if treated, and made into compost. Although what do the factories do with all the contaminated , untreated animal waste is disposed into the factories owned farms. The waste, filled will parisites, bacteria, and toxic chemicals. This waste contaminates the soil and water, which can kill fish and other wildlife. Animal waste remain dangerous to the ecosystem, statistics show that people who live near these farms can become very sick from this pollution. Slautering of animals is even a leading cause of global warming. Raising of animals for their flesh, eggs, and milk emittes carbon dioxide into the air. agriculture is the leading source of methane, more than 20 times as powerful as carbon dioxide at trapping heat in our atmosphere. The billions of farmed animals crammed into factory farms produce massive amounts of methane. Agriculture also produces nitrous oxide emissions, combined with carbon dioxide causes the vast majority of global warming.

When the next president is elected, it should be illegal for animals to be tortured. Life for animals in meat factories should be dramatically improved. To insure animals are treated just as good as humans, will dramatically improve the safety of eating meat. I feel the next president should try as hard as he can to improve life in the United States for both humans and animals.

2 Vote Return the Government to Constitutional Boundaries

Mr. President,

I am not Joe the Plumber, I am John Q Public, an unemployed, Honorably Discharged Veteran who dedicated his life to defend and preserve the Constitution of the United States from all enemies, Foreign or Domestic.
Over the course of the 20th Century, the government of the United States has continually usurped powers that Constitutionally belong to the States. I ask you, that while standing at the inauguration, recite the Constitution and its Amendments, and vow to return the Government back within the constraints of the Constitution, and return all powers not granted by the Constitution back to the individual states. We need to dismantle the current irresponsible welfare system and return welfare back to the Churches and the citizens of the communities, as welfare is nothing more than charity. We need to promote individual responsibility, not government handouts.
You need to take the reigns and go to the Halls of Congress and have the Constitution recited to the members and tell them that this is the rule of law, and we must abide to it. The Government is Of the People, By the People and For the People, and not the Lobbyists, or the politicians. You need to remember that, as there are far too many who understand the Constitution and will call you out if you over step the boundaries.

0 Vote Honesty, Humbleness, and Love

Dear Mr. President,

During your presidency you will be deciding the fate of not only our country but also countries all around this world. All I ask is that you love life, respect this world that was given to us, and respect this country and what it was founded on. Times have changed around this world, things are different, and it is often a scarier world to live in, PLEASE be a hope to our country, someone that we can count on to make the right decisions for us since often the opinions of the "average joes" of this country go unheard. I am by no means a wealthy person, I am by no means worthy to live in this country with the rights that I have inherited through the sacrifice of others' lives, and I am by no means qualified to run this country, I am just a lower middle class man with a wife, 2 cats, and an apartment, but I do know what this country needs, someone who will make the right decisions for this country, not necessarily the "easy" ones, but the "right" ones. Who I am to say what is "right"? That is the job for you, you are representing the peoples of this country, you are their voice to the rest of the world, all we ask is that you be a man and stand up to adversity even when it's not the easiest choice. Thank you for your time.

3 Vote Stop Listening.

Politicians today listen in to much on what we as Americans have to say. There wouldn't be a problem with lying or miscommunication if you would simply listen to a problem and take a stance that you as an individual decide to be the right course of action. We elect you because of your beliefs and trends throughout your political career. Stop listening once you get elected and just do whats right… not what the undereducated majority of America wants from you. Don't be advised. Have some structure and fortitude and do what needs to be done to fix what we have done to this great country since its foundation crumbled decades ago.

1 Vote Please…

Stop lying…stop pandering to get votes…stop allowing Americans to cannibalize each other while you capitalize on their fractured state, playing each special interest group off each other like you're a child trying to get a cookie from whichever parent you can dupe first. We're a country in dire need of HONEST leadership…not another bureaucratic, pontificating demagogue who only cares about furthering his own ulterior motives for the next four years.
