Congratulations on your huge win despite the lies and desperate last minute attacks on your families and character. This was a tough election and the most important in my lifetime and certainly our children's lifetime.

The first thing I would suggest from a "regular" American is to strip Congress of all it's perks starting by makeing their benefits the same as most average, NON-Union, working Americans. Maybe congress will be motivated to writing better legislation. I would inlude normalizing their outrageously bloated pensions, elite heath care, expenses and working budgets. I would like a law passed prohibiting law makers from lobbying congress, ever on behalf of anyone for a 5 year moratorium after they have left office. (I have much more to say about lobbyists but will follow up separately to maintain focus on these initiatives) I would like to prosecute law makers to double the normal jail time, penalty or fines that violate the public trust. Provide full disclosure on meetings held in private where legislation is discussed so long as no national security issues are concerned and finally, let's have a recall mechanism in place for politicians that get elected and reneg on campaign promises.
