Dear Mr. President:
My prayer would be that you turn to God's Wisdom, not man's. Would that you would impart to Congress that once election is gained, then all would work together for the good of the country, not each individual district, and not spending time and money to be re-elected. Our elected officials seem more intent on what's good for them, not uniting us as one nation under God. So I would ask for unity, pride in God's nation as it was founded. Elected officials need to be reminded they are servants of the people, not the other way around. Remind people of thankfulness for our bountiful gifts, and a reminder of how much we have been able to help around the world. It is important to lift us positively, not beat us with our mistakes. We still are the best hope for freedom in the world and we need not apologize for it. God has blessed us mightily and please remind this nation of it. We need to always be looking forward, yet know history so that we can learn from it. Don't be afraid to stand for what is right and good. Remember you are God's servant first, the nation's second.
