90 Vote Who Will Be Your Authority?

Dear Mr. President;

Will the Bible, God's Word, be your authority? Hebrew 4:12 says : For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Although you find yourself as President and being given the greatest power and authority in making decisions for the United States of America, I pray you choose God's Word as your final authority. You will be faced with circumstances which will be beyond your control. The ability to face these problems will overwhelm you at times. Take heart, do not fear, you will "not" conquer it on your own. God is there to guide you. His Words will bring power to your heart and mind, and HE will give you the courage to follow through each hurdle you face and each task your are given. There will be valleys, pits and peaks and mountain tops. Face each one with a strong will, courage, confidence and humility.

Govern boldly in the wisdom only God will give you. Seek His counsel daily and heed the counsel of the people God has placed in your life as we move America forward. Don't hesitate to take the chances God presents to you. If he directs you to go off road, take the chances, forget the polls, don't dangle waiting for adulation from the press. Summon God every minute to be the ultimate Authority in your life. Plunge in and be vigorous in accepting daily challenges.

Acknowledge the Creator and do not hesitate to follow HIM on the journey He lays before you. Allow God to elevate the office you hold. This journey ahead of you, has already been prepared. Fear is not a factor, reject it and allow faith to take it's place. Don't try to escape God, you may find that you will question yourself, but never question His Authority, or the authority He has Placed in your hands. The steps you will take each day, have already been walked for you. The journey will seem daunting at times, but remember God is in that journey with you. You will never be alone. The Apostle Paul said “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” And once you realize that there is something greater than you out there, then you have to decide, “Do I acknowledge HIM and do I follow HIM?” I pray you will surrender yourself to God, and be humble enough to know that you will need to submit to the Authority of your Heavenly Father. Do not be afraid to admit your weaknesses before HIM, and always be willing to give God the credit in everything.

James Madison wrote in 1975 ~ A Memorial and Remonstrance:

"It is the duty of every man to render to the Creator such homage, and such only, as he believes to be acceptable to him. This duty is precedent both in order of time and degree of obligation, to the claims of Civil Society. Before any man can be considered as a member of Civil Society, he must be considered as a subject of the Governor of the Universe."

May God Bless you, Mr. President.

Fear not!
